Retirement can be the best years. Mike Bellah points out that the best way to enjoy and thrive in retirement should be a “dreams first” approach. The book is full of useful information about that he compiled after reading a large number of books written on retirement. I found a new excitement about the days ahead instead of a dread of just getting older. My favorite part is where he talks about old friends. I fully agree that having the time to spend with friends is one of the best parts of retirement.
