Best Retirement Gift Ever This is the Best Retirement Gift you can purchase for a friend or coworker. It is easy to read with great illustrations to go along with the sage advice. I bought 50 copies to give out to our employees who were scheduled to retire over the next few years. You canât go wrong with this great gift!
Condition I purchased this book under the category “very good condition” and it’s just “acceptable”. Major crease on the cover, stamps inside front cover and back side inside cover. Major creases on the back cover. Plastic cover cover coming apart from jacket. Disappointed. I have to hand this as a gift?? It was supposed to have a gentle use.
Cute, not nasty As others have noted this book is quite small, so it’s not much of a retirement party gift for the price. I put it with two other small retirement-related items in a gift bag. Since the recipient is retiring somewhat early to care for a grandchild, the standard retirement jokes are inappropriate. This one is not as nasty as retirement books often are about growing old and doing nothing. The captions are mildly humorous. Some of the quotations by famous people are clever and ring true. The…
