Factual, not analytical; A good starter guide but incomplete. I thought this was a useful book that was relatively comprehensive about the plan sponsor requirements and administration aspects of running a plan. It is more a factual than an analytical book. It describes various elements of running a plan, but it does not explain the analysis or pros/cons of choosing various options.I thought that the book could have benefited from:* General proofreading. Even running the regular old MS Word spellchecker and grammar check would have…

This book is great for the HR Professional or brand new Retirement Plan … This book is great for the HR Professional or brand new Retirement Plan Administrator. It is not good for a seasoned Retirement Plan Administrators. It does not show you how to perform any calculations such as ADP, Top Heavy, Annual Additions etc. No formulas are given. But I highly recommend it for HR Professionals.
